The Winter Paralympic Games will begin in Sochi on March 7. In the U.S., NBC and NBC Sports Network will air a total of 50 hours of the games on television, and a live-stream of all events will be available on TeamUSA.org. CBC/Radio-Canada will produce 30 broadcast hours of coverage from Sochi as well as extensive digital streaming coverage. Check paralympic.ca for more information.
I hope you take one minute to watch this ad from the Canadian Paralympic Committee. It challenges our assumptions about what makes for vigorous athletic competition. The words at the end could apply as much to involvement in church as to involvement in athletic events. (Besides, every aspect of this ad is really cool!)
