Disability Concerns, General Worship
Dear Heavenly Lord,
We come tonight to praise your Holy Name. We rejoice at the community of believers gathered here. We praise you that each one of us brings a different gift, or fragrant offering, that pleases you. You use each one of us for unique tasks that strengthen the whole body, of which you are the head.
We confess that we all have short comings, especially when it comes to judging others based on external appearances. We often don’t respect the dignity of those also created in your image.
Thank you for reminding us that in the end, there will be “a great multitude that no one will be able to count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before your throne and in front of you, the Lamb” (Revelation 7:9).
Please forgive us and help us to see each other through your eyes of love and compassion. Lord, may this service be a stepping stone to unity in You. Please help us see that our differences bring pleasure to You and help to assure that Your message of salvation will be heard across all nations, as well as this diverse section of (name of city/state/province).
Holy Father, please bless the words of our pastor. May the message penetrate our hearts and draw us closer, to not only You, but to each other.
In Your Name,
Amen
