Disability Concerns Communication Changes

If you follow Disability Concerns on social media you may have noticed some changes recently. The Disability Concerns Facebook and Instagram pages are merging with social media from the other ministries of Thrive, a new agency of the Christian Reformed Church in North America. Follow Thrive on social media to continue seeing disability and accessibility content along with content from the other ministries that make up Thrive. Those focus areas include what was formerly called: race relations, office of social justice, faith formation, worship, chaplaincy, diversity, safe church and pastor and church support. We are excited that greater collaboration means that our content will reach a broader audience, in addition to the people who already have a passion for disability and accessibility in the church.

If you are a CRC or RCA Regional Advocate, Church Advocate, Agency Advocate or Advisory Committee Guiding Coalition leader we hope you will join us in our private Facebook group called RCA/CRC Disability Advocates. We hope this Facebook group will become a vibrant community where advocates can share church accessibility wins, ask questions, collaborate with other advocates, and continue learning.
