Bible Studies for Adults with Intellectual Disability

For more than 35 years, Friendship Ministries has published Bible study materials geared towards adults with intellectual disability. Our ideal program model is based on a large group meeting followed by one-on-one discussion time with a "Friend" (someone with a disability) and a "Mentor" (someone with typical ability). However, the material is flexible enough to be adapted to many different settings, from small Sunday school classes to very large groups with few Mentors.
Friendship Bible studies include three series: God, Our Father; Jesus, Our Savior; and The Spirit, Our Helper. We also offer a study on the Psalms, the Ten Commandments, and Christmas and Easter books. You can learn more and explore these and other materials on our website at friendship.org/bookstore.
