Find a Mental Health Support Group in Your State

In the U.S., the National Empowerment Center (NEC) maintains a list of consumer-run organizations that encompass the entire state or large parts of states. Consumer-run organizations are defined as organizations in which consumers make up the majority of the staff and the board of the organization.These organizations can be contacted for consumer support groups or programs in their respective states. NEC staff and consultants bring experience in organizing consumer-run organizations and in helping individuals and groups develop the knowledge and ability to transform the mental health service system toward a more recovery-oriented and consumer-and family-driven approach.
