Some senior civil servants and political leaders in Canada are concerned that legal and political pressure for legalization of euthanasia will increase in the coming years. The church can provide ethical leadership by modeling responsible and compassionate end-of-life care. In this spirit there is a motion in front of the House of Commons that needs our support.
