For the last (almost) eight years I have been immersed in classis work. Over the past six months I've had the opportunity to blog, write articles, and find resources for this online Network about classis. It has been a wonderful way of processing the work that I have been a part of. I've enjoyed being able to get other's opinions, stories and thoughts about the subject. I've been encouraged and challenged through the discussions we've had here and look forward to this continuing - but without my weekly participation.
I will be taking a break from this work for about a year (although I'm sure I'll be checking in and keeping up with what is happening on the Network) as I look forward to the birth of our third child this summer. Paul VanderKlay, the Pastor of Living Stones CRC in Sacramento, CA, will be taking over the role of network Guide. He has already posted two thought provoking and challenging blogs this past June and I know he will do a great job of leading further discussions. I look forward to seeing what great conversations happen this year and how that can challenge classes to think and work.
So, I'll “talk” with you all again later,
Elizabeth Guillaume-Koene
