This month, the office of 'Leadership Development: Women’s and Ethnic Ministry' launched its first-ever Women’s Ministry website and created a brochure for Women’s Ministry to support our churches and ministries, classes, and denominational offices.
We now have a place to list resources and other information on a regular basis! Sign up for our upcoming e-newsletters in the Stay Connected section of the website (simply enter your email and hit subscribe).
Here is another way to get involved. . .
Are you interested in participating in a network of women in leadership? We are asking CRC women in leadership and women clergy, involved or not involved in existing equipping groups, to consider a network of clusters. Can you image what we could accomplish with a platform for sharing resources; learning through case studies; planning events such as the anniversaries of our first women clergy, chaplains, elders and deacons; and building our leadership capacity by utilizing expertise from within our network?
A network is an engaging and open approach for building trust and relationships and making decisions through transparency and process. This is an experiment and we're ready to get started! How about you?
Go to the website and click 'Get Involved' to complete our survey if you are interested in exploring this opportunity to connect with other called and gifted women leaders in our denomination. If you have any suggestions or comments, please let us know. We'd love your feedback!
