If you are a student from a diverse ethnic background with a calling toward ministry leadership, Thrive encourages you to apply for the L.E.A.D. Scholarship (Leadership Equipping – Advocating Diversity). Formerly known as the "Race Relations Multiracial Student Scholarship," this program remains a useful resource for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, or People of Color) students from around the world committed to serving within the Christian Reformed Church in North America (CRCNA).
The scholarship is designed for those planning to attend, or who are currently enrolled at CRCNA-affiliated institutions, including Calvin Theological Seminary, Calvin University, Dordt University, The King’s University, Redeemer University, Kuyper College, and Trinity Christian College.
The selection process has a strong focus on a student’s demonstrated potential for active leadership and aspirations to serve at the denomination, at a local Christian Reformed church, or at one of our affiliated organizations.
Thrive’s LEAD scholarship is made possible entirely through the generosity of donors who believe in cultivating a more diverse and vibrant leadership within our denomination. By contributing to this scholarship fund, these generous donors are directly investing in the future of the CRCNA and empowering students to answer their calling to serve.
Investing in these scholarships is one of the most effective ways we can work together to develop the diverse, multiracial leadership our denomination needs for renewal and future growth. Thank you for your support and for considering how you might help students of the CRC reach their potential.
