Ruth Padilla DeBorst joins hosts Chris and Karen for this first episode of Open to Wonder Season 1: Beyond Sunday. Ruth lives in an intentional community at Casa Adobe in Costa Rica and shares what it means to live into and out of your faith seven days a week. And her honest answer to how we can intentionally live our faith in our neighborhoods and communities is a do-able life-changer (it may or may not involve a lawnmower.) 

"To me, theology is more of a verb than a noun. We do theology. As we live in obedience, that brings us insights and the Holy Spirit reveals the purpose isn't to fill up our heads with knowledge; the purpose is to live faithfully, to communally express God's good purposes for God's world. That's the purpose of theology. And it's not to puff up our pride. It's to mak us better servants."
