Do you long to build a life-giving church that grows healthy, spiritual, passionate followers of Jesus?
Would you like to revitalize your own prayer connection and relationship with God while teaching and modeling how to build that into others, creating a culture of prayer in your own congregation?
Are you beginning to realize that church that is done on our own strength is missing the power of the Spirit?
Then the Prayer Coaching Cohort may be for you!
In the spring of 2026, two new cohorts will be offered to pastors, staff, church prayer leaders, and anyone who would like to grow in prayer. These coaching groups will be offered:
Cohort #1 - Tuesdays, 2:00-3:30 Central time
Feb 10, 24, Mar 10, 24, Apr 7, 21, May 5, 19
Cohort #2 - Wednesdays, 1:30-3:00 pm Central time
Feb 11, 25, Mar 11, 25, Apr 8, 22, May 6, 20
Through coaching, you will begin a journey of growing in your prayer life, an intentional focus on seeking God’s face in prayer, trusting and waiting for the Holy Spirit to work powerfully, and learn to lead your church in growing more deeply in dependence upon God through prayer.

Why Should I Join the Prayer Coaching Cohort?
Here are some thoughts from some of the recent cohort participants on their experience and the value of this prayer coaching opportunity.
Alan: The prayer coaching cohort has changed my approach and view of prayer. My focus has been changed from a needs or list based approach to seeking God first because he is worthy. Spending time with God in prayer is now the priority and is far more sustainable (and enjoyable) than concentrating on a list to approach God with.
Peggy: This course equipped me to learn praying with an open Bible so that my prayers are focused first of all on God and how he is revealing himself in the passage. I'm freshly motivated in my personal prayer life and in inviting others in my church to try this out with me in group prayer. Don't miss out!
Maria: The prayer cohort experience was such an encouragement - we did not simply talk about prayer, we prayed together. It was a blessing to humbly and honestly journey with others into what it means to seek God's face, not merely his Hand, and to present ourselves before him to be transformed in prayer. I am truly grateful for the material we worked through, the edifying conversation, and the godly men and women I was blessed to encounter on the way. May God continue to be glorified in this ministry as He refines us in prayer!
Drew: Prayer coaching has helped re-focus my heart in pastoral ministry on the essential place that often gets neglected: prayer. This coaching motivates deeper prayer by emphasizing its end as seeking God's face. Instead of being 'too busy' to pray, prayer is the essential partner of ministry of the Word, and my hope is that by God's grace the congregation I serve will be blessed by a culture of Word and prayer. This coaching was a great encouragement in that direction, led very capably by Jon.
Ben: I encourage you to consider being a part of a prayer cohort because it encourages you to step out of your comfort zone and pray. The cohort teaches you to seek God's face and not just his hand. That was a monumental shift for me and now I find myself seeking God's face all the time. The prayer cohort is a challenge and a blessing.
