I am a 62-year-old woman. I was born in Montreal and grew up in a western suburb of the city. I became a confessing member of the local CRC, First Christian Reformed Church of Monreal on May 15, 1977, so this year will be the 43rd anniversary of that event. I have two B.A.s, one in LInguistics and the other in English Studies with a Major in Professional Writing in English. I developed schizophrenia around the age of 28.

Why are you so anxious to defend Jesus against her blog "Autistic Jesus"? It says more about you than either Jesus Himself or her. She sin't saying that He's defective in and way or even autistic and God sin't threatened by it. She's using a metaphor to get a point across, but you're missing the point because the metaphor makes you feel threatened and insecure. To you, Jesus has to be flawless in all respects or you have a problem, and then you leap to His defense whether He needs it or not. He DOESN'T. It's a figure of speech.
