In addition to submitting an online application, those who apply for chaplaincy endorsement must provide three references:

One from a pastor, board member, or council member of a past church or ministry you have served in a formal or informal capacity. If you are presently in seminary or a recent graduate, a recommendation from a seminary professor may be used

One from a pastor, board member, or council member of the church you currently attend or serve

One from a vocational supervisor or mentor (CPE educator, internship supervisor, chaplain)
Select your references and then email them the Chaplain Candidate Online Reference Form. Let them know that you are applying for chaplaincy endorsement and that their reference will assist Chaplaincy and Care Ministry in this process.
