Hello from the New Guide!

Hello! My name is Mavis Moon and I’m taking over as guide of “Church and Web.” I’ve been a fan of this network since its beginning and my goal is to explore ways to use technology as a part of God’s kingdom work.

David Teitsma wrote his farewell blog last week. Please join me in thanking him for building this Church & Web network. He and I worked together when I wrote a couple articles last year and I hope he’ll continue to contribute his knowledge and skills in the days ahead. Thanks, Dave!

I’m eager to continue the discussions and learning already happening on this network. I’ve been reading your suggestions for topics in your comments and forum entries. Please keep on sharing your ideas, thoughts and questions. And do let me know what you’d like to see on this network!

Thanks, Ken. Let me know if there's a topic you're specifically interested in.

Thanks! I'm excited to see what's in store!

Well Mavis, there is one thing that would help people like me. If you have time could you look into vitual worship where shut-in's could particapaite in corperate worship via web connections. That would be pretty cool. Don't waste your time on this if the tech is to cumbersome or expensive. Thanks Ken

Ken, this is a good suggestion and I'll definitely see what I can come up with. I have a few ideas already, and some sources for more. Thanks!
