The Role of a Missions Committee

The Christian Reformed Church has a rich history of sending missionaries, planting churches, introducing people to the Gospel, and has a passion for fulfilling the great commission.

However, since most church leaders have many ministry priorities, a good mission program also involves delegating mission oversight to people who have the desire, the time, the vision and the enthusiasm to do it — a Missions Committee, Global Outreach Team or a Mission Initiative Team.

This document outlines some of the key responsibilities of a Missions Committee.
