First Reformed Church is a 177-year-old congregation founded by Dutch immigrants with a vision to be a vibrant place of ministry and mission—and that vision is still alive today. We are committed to our mission: that all may come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ by making disciples who make disciples, and our vision: to serve our local community and invest in the next generation.
First is a healthy, growing church with a strong staff team and active, caring members. We are a community of people seeking to represent Christ well and help our neighbors encounter His love and grace. We long to see West Michigan more fully reflect the kingdom of God—a place where people live into their unique callings in ministry, the marketplace, and everyday life.
