West Leonard Christian Reformed Church is seeking a lead pastor to guide us as we live out our mission statement: “Growing devoted followers of Jesus who share his love.” A pastor who will help our church grow into a more intentional, missional community; one that will continue growing disciples within and outside our walls to transform lives and our community for Christ.
The pastor’s responsibilities will include (in part) being a passionate preacher of God’s word, (delighting in telling the gospel message and encouraging others to receive it - Growing devoted followers of Jesus); helping us grow in using our gifts but also helping us be disciple-makers in others; and having a heart for the community and all who are in need. (who share his love!)
West Leonard is a small to medium church located on the lower west side of Grand Rapids, Michigan, just west of the Grand River and minutes from downtown. West Leonard offers many ministries and opportunities for service, and our worship together is a joy!
