Job Description

The First Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota is seeking a Pastor of Congregational Life, a person of God, who will provide leadership and oversight for Pastoral Care of the congregation, ensuring spiritual care and discipleship at all levels of congregational life. Our church is anchored in the authority of Scripture, committed to a Reformed world-and-life view, and devoted to bringing all things under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We desire someone who has experienced the grace of God in all its mercy, love, and humanity.

First CRC is seeking a pastor who has the passion and ability to equip and empower the leadership of our Care Teams to ensure comprehensive care for God’s people. At the base of this care is a foundation of Biblical understanding, teaching, and discipleship which equips Care Teams and others to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

We desire a pastor who is able to lead us in discipling believers, challenge us with new ways of reaching our community, strengthen the faith of the faithful, and expose the gospel to both newcomers and mature Christians. First CRC believes that God has many people yet to be called to the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Interested candidates are encouraged to review our Church Profile and Pastor of Congregational Life job description (see attachments below).  Additional information, as well as how to apply, can be found on our website, https://firstchristianreformed.org/.  Specific questions can be emailed to the Pastor of Congregational Life Search Committee Attn: Dave Dreessen or Mark Veurink at [email protected]
