Are you looking for resources on prayer? Don’t forget to check out what’s available to you through the CRC’s Digital Library. Through a one-year pilot program launched in April 2016, digital resources on the Digital Library are free for anyone who attends a Christian Reformed Church. Check out the resources below:
The Praying Church Sourcebook, by Alvin J. Vander Griend, is a practical guide full of ideas, stories, and resources for churches who want to focus on prayer.
So You’ve Been Asked to Lead in Prayer, by Timothy J. Mulder, is a brief booklet in the “So You’ve Been Asked To…” series with tips to help volunteers lead in prayer.
Learning the Lord’s Prayer, by Jessie Schut, is accompanied by a Leader/Mentor Guide and is geared toward helping children understand and participate in the Lord’s Prayer.
Dwell, a children’s ministry curriculum from Faith Alive, specifically focuses on prayer in a couple different units: “What Do I Say When I Pray?” in Unit 6 of Dive (6-8) Year 2 and “Prayer” in Unit 3 of Dive (6-8) Year 3.
Digital copies of all of these resources are free to the CRC through the Digital Library, and if you prefer a hard copy, a 20% discount for CRCs is applicable for each of these resources as well.
