Jesus taught us to prayer the Lord's Prayer.
More than just repeating the words, the rhythm of the Lord's Prayer—Reverence (hallowed be your name), Response (Your will be done), Requests (for relationships and resources) and Readiness (deliver us from evil)—can be used to pray scripture either in our own prayers or in praying with one another.
In Paul's letter to the Colossians, he teaches them, and us, to have a Kingdom of God perspective. That perspective is based on knowing that Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Knowing that our life is hidden with Christ in God, makes all the difference in our lives. But, only if we allow that truth to change our perspective.
Praying from Colossians 3:1-4 can help lead small groups, ministry teams, elders and deacons, church staff, and Sunday school classes to keep a Kingdom of God perspective.
