All curriculum tells God’s story from a particular theological perspective. Some present God’s story as a series of virtues or morals to be learned; some place the focus on human heroes instead of God; others present the gospel as a transaction between us and God rather than as a gift of grace. As Reformed Christians we have a problem with those presentations!

The way we tell God’s story is as important when the listeners are children as it is when they are adults. The children’s curriculum choices your church makes matter.

Faith Formation Ministries presents “Choosing a Curriculum” the companion video to the “10 Question Tool for Choosing Children’s Ministry Curriculum” guide. View the video as an introduction to the ten critical questions to consider when evaluating children’s ministry curriculum and then use the 10 Question Tool to guide your decision making process.
