Online Giving Option for Churches

Given the new reality of living with church shut downs, your church may realize a sudden need to shift to online giving. The CRCNA has addressed this need by setting up a convenient way for your church to offer an immediate online giving avenue for your membership.
We are actively building a list of churches that want to be included in this service. If you do not already have an online giving option in place, please fill out this online form and review the guidelines. We believe this is the quickest and most economical choice for a congregation to invest in at this time.
Once your church is on the active list we will provide a web link to the donation website that you would then be able to share with members of your congregation. When members of your congregation visit this special website, they will search a list of all participating churches, choose their church and be able to input their gift. No special projects, building funds or offerings for special ministries can be taken; this is just for your general fund. The denomination will then process a monthly (possibly weekly) EFT deposit to your bank account for the amount that was processed less the fee that was collected by the credit card vendors for the transaction.
Things for you to know:
There is a 3% charge for this service. Credit card companies charge an average of 3% for these transactions. The CRCNA is in no way making money from these transactions. We will only cover the cost of these fees.
We will be collecting bank information from you, so we can electronically funds transfer (EFT) to your bank account, monthly (possibly weekly). Every time we send a transfer, your church gets 97% of the total.
Since the donation is being routed through the CRCNA, receipts will be from the CRCNA. Churches will not and must not send a receipt to givers.
The CRCNA will try and provide you a list of names of the people who gave at some point but there is no guarantee we will be able to do the report.
Please consider this service as a quick option for your church to continue to receive funds during this challenging time and to keep the gospel mission of your church moving forward.
