A New Approach to Finding a Pastor

So, your church is looking for a pastor! Where do you begin? What do you need to know? Who can you talk to?
In response to these questions, we are excited to introduce a new process called PastorSearch that is being rolled out in June.
Simply put, churches and pastors will now have a new way to “find each other” through a secure, online portal. Pastors are already in the process of creating and updating their profiles through this portal, and now Pastor Search Committees will get special access to some of the information in the minister portal with the ability to sort, filter, view, and download minister profiles.
Sound confusing? Here’s an article that gives the details.
Does that mean you are now on your own? Not at all! Several of us at Pastor Church Resources have been involved in the creation of PastorSearch and are eager to help any way that we can. Please feel free to leave a comment below or email us at [email protected]. Let’s have a conversation!

Can more than one person on a search team have access to the portal?

Hi, Bev,
Good question and the answer is yes. The log-in information to the portal can be shared with search team members. Let me know if you have questions. You can email me at [email protected]

Would this new system help a pastor like me that has served as an ordained Commissioned Pastor and am now searching for a church that is open to calling one to serve as a Commissioned Pastor?
