It's National Volunteer Week! Who Are You Thankful For?

As a kid, my favorite section of the local newspaper, The Battle Creek Enquirer, was called Roses and Raspberries. In this section, people would share good and bad happenings in the local community. I love reading the roses—stories of people investing in kids, or buying someone breakfast, or giving what they could to a cause that matters. The raspberries were another story.
In the spirit of giving roses, and because it's National Volunteer Week, I thought it would be neat to name and thank those who are making a difference in our churches and communities.
Is there someone making a difference in your church or community? Take a moment to honor them below.
"I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now..."(Philippians 1:3-5, NIV)
