Have you read Robin Wall Kimmerer's book Braiding Sweetgrass yet?
I keep hearing about this book, written by a Native American botanist and distinguished teaching professor. In fact, the book was recommended twice in the Climate Witness Project's article on Creation Stewardship Resources.
I'm only a couple chapters in, but I already find the author's approach refreshing. Rather than gloom and doom, she utilizes storytelling to remind us of a world that began with a symbiotic relationship between humans and the natural world. And she invites us to envision a future where this is once again the case.
Have you read the book? What did you think?

I have a big recommendation for anyone planning to jump into this book - get the audio version! To hear the author reading it to you is like a lovely walk with her as she shares Indigenous wisdom. It has made this book very dear for me. I feel like she has brought me closer to God through her exploration of His creation. Highly recommend this book - especially if you are starting out on a long road trip. Download it and be prepared to want to find the nearest marshy area and take a closer look at the wonders of the earth at a microscopic level!
