Why I Am a Disability Advocate - Reg Laws

After some convincing to become a disability advocate by his former pastor, Reg Laws was encouraged by helping other people and continues to be excited by the work, nine years later.
The churches in his classis are scattered throughout Ontario and so he admits it can be a “chore” but is delighted to see more and more people learning and acting as disability advocates. “I’m so happy that, finally, disability concerns [is something] the whole denomination is starting to think about…that’s exciting for me.” Listen to Reg’s own words to hear his delight in this ministry.
Perhaps you have the gifts or know someone with gifts to share as a disability advocate in your congregation. Disability Concerns wants to help you do that.
