Disability Concerns is excited to announce the launch of two new book clubs that will take place over the coming year!

Our first book club will be focused on the writings of Henri Nouwen specifically for caregivers, and the second one is the newest book by John Swinton. Both of these authors are highly respected within our community, and we want to take the opportunity to explore their work in small groups.

Please note that for each book study, we will have a limit of 20 people for the study in order to ensure everyone has a voice in the group. Make sure to complete the Google Form if you are interested in participating to ensure you get a spot! We will be sending out the Zoom link for each study to those that have completed the Google Form, along with additional information about the study.

Our first book club will take place in November.

The focus of our study will be the book Courage for Caregivers: Sustenance for the Journey. We have been hosting a webinar series Walking Alongside Caregivers throughout the month of October, with a wide variety of speakers discussing the many aspects of caregiving. We wanted to follow up this webinar series with a book club that will further explore this topic, but with space for all participants to share their journey and their experiences within the group setting.

To join us, please complete this form: Caregiver Study Google Form

*Please note that there are limited spaces available in this book club, so be sure to sign up now!
