Palliative Care Toolkit

When the Supreme Court of Canada made physician assisted death (some call it "physician assisted suicide") legal throughout Canada, Christians needed to respond in ways that are faithful to Scripture and compassionately consider the difficult issues that cause people to consider physician assisted death. This 44-page guide from the Evangelical Fellowship of Canada, Palliative Care Toolkit, considers how best to support people who are living with serious illness or are nearing life's end. Though produced in Canada, the guide will be helpful for Christians throughout North America. Issues addressed include understanding palliative care, why palliative care matters, and a highly practical section on getting involved in the lives of people who are facing the end of life as well as their loved ones.
