Many in our churches have been or are being affected with mental health issues. Directly or indirectly, we have sensed the pain suffered by those who struggle and when confronted with the issue, we aren't sure how to respond. In this webinar Brett Ullman shares his story of being broken, down to his knees and give insight into where his help came from and how churches and leaders can provide support for those affected by mental health issues.
Brett Ullman travels North America speaking to teens, young adults, leaders and parents on topics including sexuality, mental health, men, dating and media. Brett’s seminars engage and challenge attendees to try and connect our ancient faith with the modern culture we live in. Ron deVries has worked as a Youth Ministry Consultant for Classis Alberta North in Canada since 2007. He also serves the CRCNA as a Faith Formation Coach.

I did watch this webinar, and it reminded me that even though anxiety is not a major problem of mine, I do tend to get anxious when responsibilities pile up and I have to be careful that I don't take more than I can handle. Having schizophrenia even if I'm functioning at a high level still leaves me more fragile than people who are healthy.
