On June 25, 2021 the CRCs Office of Race Relations held a webinar discussion between a panel of five white anti-racism allies. They reflected on the influence their whiteness has in the workplace, in worship, and in the culture.

Panelists were:

  • Eric Nykamp LMSW - Producer of the Antioch Podcast 
  • Libby Huizenga, MDiv - professor at Kuyper College in Grand Rapids (Mich.).
  • Joseph Kuilema PhD - Assistant Professor of Global Development Studies and Social Work at Calvin University
  • Stacia Hoeksema LMSW - Assistant Professor of Social Work at Calvin University
  • Melissa Stek, MSW - Copywriter on policy advocacy and Antiracism Facilitator with 'As I Am' Consulting

The moderators were: 

  • Pastor Reggie Smith - Director of the CRC Office of Diversity
  • Dr. Michelle Lloyd-Paige - Professor of Sociology at Calvin University
