As part of God’s family, we have a deep contentment in knowing our true identity as His precious sons and daughters, because of Who He is and what He has done! (link to You are Precious and Priceless). Being the beneficiary of His amazing gift of grace opens the floodgates of God’s blessings in our lives.
We are blessed!
Scripture speaks to our identity as a blessed people:
God created man in His own image, male and female He created them. Then God blessed them (Gen 1:27-28)
Blessed are those . . . who delight in the law of the Lord (Ps 1:1-2)

For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him (Ps 5:12)
You (God) give blessings to the pure (Ps 18.26)

Do not fear, I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10)
Blessed are the poor, those who mourn, the meek, the merciful, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, the peacemakers, the pure in heart, the persecuted for My Name's sake (Matt 5:3-12)
Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ (Ephesians 1:3)
And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus (Phil 4:19)
Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb. (Rev 19:9)
And there are so many more verses that tell us about how God blesses and cares for us, His family.
Part of our response to this amazing gift and God’s manifold blessings in our life, is sharing our blessings with others. This is a beautiful expression of appreciation and gratitude for becoming part of the family of God through Jesus Christ. May we long for others to find their true identity in Christ, grow in their relationship with our Heavenly Father, and flourish and thrive in their God given calling. We have the honor and privilege of walking alongside others in this journey, serving others in love, encouraging and supporting one another with appropriate resources, spiritual and material.
Heavenly Father, may Your Kingdom come and Your will be done, on earth as in heaven;
For our good and Your glory;
May His favor be upon you, and a thousand generations,
and your family, and your children, and their children, and their children.
May His presence go before you, and behind you, and beside you, all around you, and within you. He is with you;
