Our worship center is rather short from front-to-back and the screen which was initially installed (in the center) covers the cross which is behind the pulpit. In addition, there is a clear-story above the front of the room so we have ambient light conditions to confront.

I'm researching the components for a dual screen/projector setup to solve these issues. Between screen gain ratings and projector brightness ratings it gets pretty confusing. Then there are references to "calibrating" projectors to the kind of screen you have. I've yet to find any impartial resources about how it all fits together and how you balance the trade-offs in a video system.

For sound, there is a great book from Yamaha that discusses sound for worship settings without being partial to Yamaha equipment. Does anyone know of a similar guide for video projection?
