Churches have been realizing that worship spaces and practices are not always accessible to people with disabilities and have been reaching out to Thrive for help. Thrive is hosting a series of roundtable conversations in the month of October with the goal of learning together, sharing resources, and brainstorming helpful and sustainable practices. Save the date!

October 3, 1:00 p.m. EST:  Disability consultant, Lindsay Wieland Capel, invites us to think through accessible worship spaces. Think beyond legal compliance to include things like offering sensory-rooms and alternate worship spaces. To register, click here.

October 17, 1:00 p.m EST: Dwell children's ministry curriculum developer, Jill Benson, invites us to think about how to welcome children of all abilities in our children's ministry spaces. To register, click here.

October 31, 1:00 p.m. EST:  Worship consultant, Katie Roelofs, invites us to think through how our worship practices can be more accessible and inclusive for all. This includes things like screen projection, worship without words, and how to reimagine passing the peace to be more hospitable. To register, click here.

Is there a possibility that these sessions will be recorded? I've got a number of people who would love to participate but unfortunately they are being held during working hours for them.

Thanks for considering!
