Are you looking for new songs to introduce to your congregation? Curious where you might find them?

A few weeks ago there was a Facebook post on the CRC Worship Ministries page requesting suggestions for some new contemporary worship music. Here is a list created by some CRC Worship leaders. Note: this list did not receive any peer review so you are encouraged, as always, to do your own evaluation on the song's theological and musical merit.

But given that these suggestions came from folks in the CRC, it's a great place to start (though admittedly incomplete).

There are so many great contemporary praises listed above!  I use many from among your list in video form (no pianist/band) for our contemporary Praise time, along with "Greater" (Mercy Me), "Word of God Speak" (Bebo Norman), "10,000 Reasons/Bless the Lord" (Matt Redman), "O The Wonderful Cross" (Tomlin & Redman), "Overwhelmed" and "Redeemed" (Big Daddy Weave); older Newsboys' "Strong Tower" and "It Is You We Adore"; would like a good video for "Thrive" by Casting Crowns...  There is so much great contemporary music available to add to our traditional hymn selections to bring praise and worship to our great God!

Great are you Lord - All Sons & Daughters; Lord I need you - Matt Maher/Chris Tomlin; Multiply Your love - Andy Park; Rising Sun -All Sons & Daughters; Holy Spirit, living break of God - Getty & Townend; They were Waiting (Holy Spirit) -Jeremy Zeyl;  O Praise the Name - Hillsong;  All My Hope - Hillsong;  Cornerstone - Hillsong;  Hear Our Praises - Hillsong (2000); Even So Come - -Kristian Stanfill; Salvation belongs to our God;.

I love the music of "I am They" but maybe not as congregationally-friendly.  But more folksy, very rhythmic.

Vertical Church Band: 1000 Tongues!  we love this one
