As a child sexual abuse survivor, I find the quote from Shane Claiborne and Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove to he rather insulting and toxic.
People with trauma don’t further expose themselves to unsafe people or situations. Moreover, I would reconsider quoting these two, with their toxic ‘in your face’ and marginalizing tactics, to be detrimental to those in recovery.
