The Srivari Mettu distance refers to the length of one of the two traditional footpaths that pilgrims use to reach the sacred hill shrine of Tirumala Temple from the plains. Located near Srinivasa Mangapuram, Srivari Mettu is known as the shorter and comparatively easier walking route when compared to the Alipiri Mettu path.The total Srivari Mettu distance is approximately 2.1 kilometers, making it a preferred choice for pilgrims who want to complete their spiritual journey in less time. Despite being shorter, the path includes around 2,300 steps and passes through a peaceful forest area, offering a calm and devotional atmosphere throughout the climb. Many devotees choose this route because it allows them to reach Tirumala within 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on their walking pace.
