Laura Keeley

My name is Laura Keeley and for the last 20 years I have been the Co-Director of Children’s Ministries (with my husband Bob) at 14th Street CRC in Holland, MI.  I really enjoy working with children and I have had the opportunity to see many children grow and mature in their faith. This has been a great joy and is one of the best parts of the job. 

I began my career as an elementary teacher.   For seven years I taught in both public and Christian school classrooms in Michigan, New Jersey and Colorado.   I received my Bachelor’s degree from Calvin College in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree from the University of Colorado at Denver in the Teaching of Reading.   I left full time classroom teaching when my first child was born.  I now have four married children.  Over the last ten years, I have done some writing of curriculum, Christmas dramas and books on Faith Milestones, Church Staff Handbook and Psalm Devotional for Families.   I also work for the CRCNA Faith Formation Ministries as a Regional Catalyzer.
