I am a member of the Neerlandia Christian Reformed Church in Neerlandia, Alberta.
I am a mother of 4 children and grandmother of 11. My husband and I have farmed all our life and still do with our son and daughter-in-law. I have been involved with the Coffee Break ministry in our church for 28 years. God has richly blessed His ministry here and I am privileged to be a part of it.
I pray for God's leading on this ministry and pray for open hearts to hear and see His majesty in Creation and in His Word.
Posted in: Is it Important for Youth to Attend Church with Their Parents?
Thank-you Paul for raising this issue.
First and foremost it is our responsibility as parents to attend church with our children. We promised when we baptized, to do our best, with the help of the Holy Spirit, in raising our children to serve the Lord. It is our privilege to worship as a family.
It is the church's responsibility to support the family, not take the place of the family. I think the services you are suggesting are fine but hold them at a different time then the regular worship service.
Thanks
