David Rowe

I live and serve Christ in Utah as a 37-year veteran missionary under Missions Door. Currently I'm seconded to The Vine Institute, which helps develop a healthy intercultural Body of Christ on the Wasatch Front by connecting, educating and celebrating in the love of Christ across many cultures. We work mostly among refugee and immigrant populations, largely to train (and learn from!) their emerging church leaders. My wife and I are involved at First CRC in downtown Salt Lake City. I've also reflected extensively on Mormon culture and congealed much of my thinking in a book titled I Love Mormons: A New Way to Share Christ with Latter-day Saints (Baker). Loves in my life (besides Mormons) include Jesus, sheer grace, elegant discourse, acoustic music, fine food and cats.
