"Wondering questions remind leaders and kids alike that we do not and cannot know everything."

Amen! May we not be scared to wonder, doubt, wrestle, and grow in faith.

Nathan, this post was such a gift to me this morning. What a humbling and thought-provoking reminder. Thanks for sharing!

One picture book I keep buying as a gift for friends (should really buy my own copy) is Who Sang the First Song? by Ellie Holcomb. It's a heavy duty book (can't be ripped) with beautiful pictures and words written in a sing-song style, inviting kids to imagine and place themselves in God's story alongside all of creation.

We all have a song to sing, how cool is that?

These are such great examples and helped me understand how this training is so applicable to the life and health of churches, relationships, etc. Thank you for sharing!

I absolutely love this post. Thank you for all the helpful links.

It's amazing how stories have a way of cementing concepts (which can sometimes be complex or abstract) in our minds in an almost tangible way. Stories also evoke emotions and imagery, which help things stick.

Thanks again!

Ron, you are exactly right! Thanks for this comment and important reminder. Referring to students by their age, rather than another category which may exclude some, is much more helpful (usually across the board). Thanks again for your care.

Thank you so much for sharing these in one place. Including the time and description is very helpful, too. Appreciate it!
