Linda Grace
Life-long homemaker, I have been married 44+ years to a wonderful man. We have 3 (beautiful) married daughters and 6 grandsons. Through a set of unexpected circumstances, I became a Prison Chaplain with the CRC in 2015: it was the beginning of a beautiful calling that answersed a deep longing in my heart. While it was fruitful, the Prison Ministry did not develop as I thought it would though I continue to visit the one young woman with whom it had so unexpectedly started. The doors seemed to have shut and I learned to bake, sort of like Peter returing to fishing. Then, unexpectedly again, I was nominated to Synod and that week truly turned my life inside out. As a result, I am now enrolled in Calvin Theological Seminary in the Master of Arts in Ministry. Leadership program to round out my Commissioned Pastor ordination with the Ministry of the Word and Sacraments. This is under ‘about me’ because, having answered this call, I feel more myself than I ever have before.
