The Christian Reformed Church offers a defined benefit pension plan for ordained ministers' of the Word serving in the United States and Canada. The primary purpose of the plans is to provide retirement benefits for pastors. The Plan is funded through assessments and minimum direct cost amounts. Each church has a communal commitment as approved by Synod to contribute to the Ministers' Pension Fund.

The 2024 Statement Memo to Canadian participants stated "Funds contributed by the participating churches during 2024 will be used to repay a funding advance previously provided by the CRCNA Canada Corporation beginning in 2011.."
Have those funds been all repaid? If not, how much yet needs to be repaid and how long until those funds are fully repaid?
Thank-you!
