Non-Ordained Staff Compensation Survey

While there are some good resources out there for national compensation data and the Christian Reformed denomination provides an annual survey of ministers' compensation, there is very little data available to make good decisions on non-ordained staffing compensation, based on specific, local market comparisons. I've put together a survey for non-ordained church staff and have sent it to several area churches. If you are in a Grand Rapids area church, I'd love to have as many participants as possible. You can contact me ([email protected]), and I'll e-mail (or snail mail) you a copy of the survey.

The Staff Ministry Commitee of the CRCNA has some resources about compensation for non-ordained staff available.  Jeanne Kallemyn, the Staff Ministry Specialist, would welcome this conversation.  She can be contacted at:  [email protected]

I sent an e-mail to Jeanne at the denomination to see if she had any data or insight regarding non-ordained staff compensation. I know that our church has not provided data with regard to this ... so, we'll see what's out there. Please encourage your church to complete the survey! See Sheri Laninga's post: http://network.crcna.org/content/church-administration/what-do-we-pay-our-staff.

Thanks.

Responses to the survey are coming in.  Don't forget about the April 15 deadline.

Thanks!

Thank you to all who participated in the survey.  I will be working on the data and will get results back to you.
