The following excel spreadsheet (that is a sample from a church) is formulated to calculate the variables that you input into the designated cells.

Thanks for putting this spreadsheet together! I'm curious if there is an updated version (2019) available? Thanks in advance for any help. +Derek
Hi Derek,
Thanks for this good question. I believe this spreadsheet came as a sample from a church. Not sure it's something the Finance office does on an annual basis. I have reached out to them and hope to hear back soon.
Thanks again,
Staci
Compensation for church staff varies greatly by size of church, size of church staff, geographic area, urban versus suburban. Job descriptions for lead or teaching pastor, senior or associate pastor, and maybe church administrator might be similar across congregations but beyond that job descriptions and duties can vary greatly. For example one church could have a Master's level Worship Director and the next has a Choir director who assists with the worship ministry, or one Youth Director is an ordained pastor and has 100 youth and 2 part time staff working for him/her and the next is a part time Youth Coordinator who just got out of college and has 30 youth they work with. A good place to get more up to date information is found at this website

This is a great resource and we use it a lot at the denomination offices.
