We are looking for a good computer program to access our membership records. Many of our records are still hand recorded while others are electronic and tied to a general membership program used by our church secretaries. We are looking for a program that is easy to use by imputing data and accessing the information (especially as related to information the CRCNA often asks for).

What's the Best Way to Store Membership Records?

Planning Center's "PEOPLE" online database is a fantastic way to keep track of all the pertinent information on your congregants. From the very basic contact information, to marriage and baptism info... it's very customizable too to track things that might be unique to the CRC. Added bonus if you use any of their other programs - everything syncs beautifully!

Great question we'd like to know as well. We are also what are obligations towards government record keeping as for as births and deaths. Is there any way to transfer the hand written over to digital?
