Disability Concerns is very excited to announce the release of our newest resource: Everybody Belongs, Serving Together: Inclusive Church Ministry with People with Disabilities.
Everybody Belongs, Serving Together is an updated and expanded resource that provides practical advice for developing relationships and encouraging everyone in your congregation to use their gifts for God’s glory. Many people in our community may know this resource by its previous title, The Inclusion Handbook.
In addition to the practical tips you expect, this third edition includes more first-hand perspectives of people who live with disabilities. This is the third edition of this handbook, and a name change was in order. This shift in name also represents a larger partnership that has taken place with this edition. Editors not only represent leaders from the RCA and CRC Disability Concerns, but also from Elim Christian Services and Christian Horizons.
In response to our ever-changing world, Disability Concerns is also excited to announce that this iteration of the resource is available not only in print, but is fully available online, including bonus content, at everybody-belongs.org.

Want to dive into this new resource with us? Every Thursday evening from 8 to 9 p.m. Eastern in October, we will be exploring aspects of this book. We’ve lined up advocates who are actively involved in the disability community to share insights on their work, using the book as a foundational tool to support others in our disability community. Join us every Thursday in October to be a part of these conversations.
