I don’t know about you, but I get tired of creating new accounts on various websites - often with different password criteria for each. So as far as CRC-related websites go, we’re trying to make things a little easier.
Starting today, your Network login can be used for both The Network and The Banner. And, later this fall, you’ll be able use it on a brand new CRCNA.org website, as well as other CRC-related sites.
In short, your “Network login” is becoming a “CRC-wide login”. Cool, eh?
Even cooler is our “look ma, no password” option of logging in using your existing account with Facebook, Gmail, Yahoo, and many other services. If you go that route, you don’t have to remember ANY new password. Give it a try - it’s really handy.
So that’s the good news. With any change comes inevitable bumps. There will be bugs to squash, and features to improve as we roll this out. If something doesn’t seem to work right, please revisit this post and check the FAQs below. We’ll be updating those based on your questions.
All existing Network accounts have been moved over to the new structure. So when you get to the login screen...
If you normally log in with a Network username and password, just enter it as usual.
If you normally log in using Facebook, Gmail, Yahoo, etc, just log in as usual. Depending on the service, you may have to grant permission again. If you have any trouble, you can always use the ‘forgot my password’ link to log in that way. Please note that Twitter logins are no longer supported.
Or...if you have no idea how you logged in before, no worries! On the login page, just look for the ‘forgot my password’ link and use that to get back into your account.
If you run stuck, check the FAQs below or send us an email ([email protected]) if your question isn’t already answered there.
