Jesus taught us to prayer the Lord's Prayer.

More than just repeating the words, the rhythm of the Lord's Prayer—Reverence (hallowed be your name), Response (Your will be done), Requests (for relationships and resources) and Readiness (deliver us from evil)—can be used to pray scripture either in our own prayers or in praying with one another.

Paul's words in Philippians 2:1-4 urge us to show humility towards one another, because God in Christ showed humility towards us. This prayer guide helps us to pray these words for ourselves and for one another.

Use this prayer guide to open up a council meeting, for a small group prayer time, staff meetings, men's or women's ministry, or other opportunities for prayer.
