In the midst of trauma and grief, how do we point children to the comfort of God’s love and care for them? Below is a helpful blog for encouraging children’s understanding of where God is in the midst of the grief they feel.

One suggestion for grieving children is to bring their feelings to God in prayer. A useful tool for praying together as a family is Teach Us to Pray, a daily prayer book that guides families in both listening to and speaking to God through songs, scripture readings, guided action, and quiet contemplation.
