What is a Regional/Affinity Group Connector?
Regional Connectors are available to support your congregation and ministry leaders by connecting them with denominational resources so you can thrive in the ministry God has given you. Each of our connectors serve a region of the CRCNA. In addition, our Affinity Group Connectors are the point people for our Hispanic, Korean, and youth/young adult members.
What region or affinity group do you serve?
I serve Canada and the USA (through a team of Classis Youth Ministry Champions) who help to support those who work or volunteer in youth and young adult ministry roles. I also serve as an Ambassador for Thereforego Ministries and am part of the Generation Spark leadership team.
How did you come into your role?
After serving for 10 years as the Classis Alberta North Youth ministry consultant and having been connected to Youth Ministry for the last 30 years, I was asked to serve in this denominational role.
In what area of ministry are you most passionate about encouraging and equipping congregations?
Supporting, equipping and consulting with leaders and congregations about all aspects of youth ministry.
